A BIG “Thank You” for Helping Us Help Others

TheOfficeSquad® sends a BIG “thank you” to all who contributed to our charity drive last month.  Our goal was to make 100 local children warm and happy this holiday season.  Not only were we able to accomplish this, but we surpassed our goal with enough donations to brighten the lives of over 120 children.  The Ray of Hope Foundation, as well as the administration of the elementary schools whose students have benefited from this drive, are more than pleased and extremely grateful for the many contributions of toys, warm wear, gift cards and cash.

Below is an excerpt from the letter of appreciation received from the Ray of Hope Foundation:

We would like to express our sincere appreciation for all of your help with our Holiday Charity Drive.  We had a very challenging year with the addition of an extra school.  We were quite optimistic when we promised more than 800 gifts and more than 500 hats, coats and gloves.

You have no idea of how much your organization helped us meet our goal.  I can sincerely say that we wouldn’t have made it without you.  The 4 bicycles and helmets are also greatly appreciated.  As you know, we reward attendance and scholastic achievement.  Last year we celebrated an 8% increase in the number of straight A students, as well as an attendance surge to 95.4% (above the state average of 94.7%).

We are also continuing to sponsor Family Literacy Night, Family Math Night and Open Houses.  Through these programs, we have seen parent involvement surge to 88%, a 14% increase over last year.

Thank you for making a difference, and giving these children a chance for a brighter future.
